Luca Cordaro

Prof. Luca Cordaro is Head of the Department of Periodontology and Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital in Rome. He holds MD, DDS, and PhD degrees, along with a post-doctoral qualification in oral surgery, all completed in Italy.

With extensive experience in both the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry, Prof. Cordaro is actively engaged in clinical practice and research. He has authored numerous scientific publications, books, and book chapters—including a volume in the ITI Treatment Guide series—and is widely recognized for his contributions to interdisciplinary implant treatment.

Prof. Cordaro is a member of the Board of the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) and lectures internationally. He currently serves as President of the Oral Reconstruction Foundation, where he plays a leading role in guiding the Foundation’s strategic vision, scientific programs, and global outreach.
