Fernando Guerra

Prof. Fernando Guerra is Full Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra, Portugal, where he leads the disciplines of Implantology and Prosthodontics. He is Director of the Hard Tissue Laboratory and Coordinator of the postgraduate program in Oral Rehabilitation. In addition, he serves as Director of the Center for Innovation and Research in Oral Sciences (CIROS), contributing to interdisciplinary advancements in oral health.

A dedicated researcher in implant dentistry and biomaterials, Prof. Guerra has played a significant role in bridging clinical expertise with scientific innovation. His academic and research leadership has helped shape modern approaches to oral rehabilitation.

Prof. Guerra formerly served on the Board of the Oral Reconstruction Foundation and now holds the title of Honorary Board Member, in recognition of his long-standing contributions to the Foundation’s mission in education, research, and global collaboration.
